Darcy Madden, Executive Director

Darcy Madden became the Executive Director of Everybody Wins! Metro Boston in 2007. Her involvement with Everybody Wins! first began in 2003 when she served as an intern for the organization while earning her masters degree in Language and Literacy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Dartmouth College. Darcy was previously the Community Development Manager for First Book in Washington, DC, as well as the Manager of Member Services and Special Events for Boston Cares.

 

Darcy is an Everybody Wins! Power Lunch reading mentor at the Dante Alighieri School in East Boston.

 

Anne Marie Cuozzo, Director of Development

Anne Marie Cuozzo became the Director of Development at Everybody Wins! Metro Boston in 2008. Her involvement with Everybody Wins! first began in 2007 as EWMB’s part-time Business Manager. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Boston College and is currently a candidate for an Advanced Certificate in Accounting from Northeastern University. Anne Marie has 20+ years in small business management and was previously the Administrative Director of Boston Youth Moves, a non-profit dance program for local teens. She is currently a tax specialist with H&R Block.

Emily Prabhaker, Program Manager

Emily Prabhaker became a Program Manager for Power Lunch during Summer 2010. Before her work with Everybody Wins!, she served as the Program Coordinator at the DREAMS Center for Arts Education in Wilmington, North Carolina. She has also volunteered with Children’s Literature New England and with Raising a Reader Massachusetts. She holds an M.A. in Children’s Literature from Simmons College, as well as a B.S. in Psychology from Wheaton College.

Emily looks forward to becoming a Power Lunch reading mentor in Fall 2010.

 

Ryan Ruffing, Program Manager

Ryan became the Program Manager for Power Lunch in the fall of 2008 after completing an AmeriCorps term of service with Everybody Wins! during the 2007-2008 program year. Prior to joining the Everybody Wins! team Ryan earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Kenyon College and spent two summers teaching underserved 1st graders at The Pittsburgh Project.


Ryan is an Everybody Wins! Power Lunch reading mentor at the Dante Alighieri School in East Boston.

 

Adam Goldfarb, Volunteer Outreach Coordinator

AmeriCorps Ambassador of Mentoring

Adam Goldfarb joined Everybody Wins! Metro Boston as a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator in August 2010. He earned a BA in Classical Civilization and Philosophy from Colby College and has been involved in nonprofit work from a very young age. Adam spent his first year after graduation working as an AmeriCorps*VISTA with Massachusetts Campus Compact at Framingham State College heading the community service programs, including the Alternative Spring Break program.

Adam looks forward to becoming a Power Lunch reading mentor in Fall 2010.

Janessa Piteo, Volunteer Outreach Coordinator

Janessa joined Everybody Wins! Metro Boston as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer Outreach Coordinator in August of 2010. She earned a B. A. in English from Wheaton College (MA) and has been actively involved in volunteering and non-profit work since childhood. Prior to joining Everybody Wins! Janessa spent the last two years living in rural Wyoming managing a children’s program at Brooks Lake Lodge.

Cara Freitas, Special Event Coordinator

Cara became the Special Events Coordinator during the summer 2010 to support Everybody Wins! Metro Boston in the planning and implementation of An Everybody Wins! Golden Ticket Gala 2010. Cara is currently a student at Northeastern University majoring in Communication Studies. On campus Cara is a Peer Coordinator in the Peer Mentoring Program, helping undeclared freshmen become more familiar and comfortable with adjusting to campus life.
